CoBaSi by HiKoo, a wool-free sock yarn from Skacel, is made from cotton (55 percent), bamboo (16 percent), silk (8 percent), and elastic nylon (21 percent). The nylon gives the yarn elasticity not normally found in cotton yarns, while the silk offers beautiful stitch definition and subtle shine.

CoBaSi is a great value for a sturdy, colorful fingering weight yarn, making it perfect for socks, warm weather projects, or bright baby knits. It knits up at 6.5 to 8 stitches to the inch on size 1 to 4 needles and is machine washable.
