Barista Ben Wineke

Greetings, friends and coffee lovers!

You likely know me as your friendly neighborhood barista, but for those of you who don’t, my name’s Ben, and I love coffee. I love smelling it, I love tasting it, and I love talking about it. And The Sow’s Ear has given me a forum to do just that!

Look here to find out about new coffees that we get in, specials we’ll have lined up, classes and events the cafe will be hosting, and for me to climb on my soap box and talk about whatever trends and issues are going on in the coffee industry. It’s a constantly changing environment with new and exciting developments happening all the time, and I’m looking forward to exploring them with you.

Cafes, at their best, have always been a spot to touch base, share ideas, and inspire curiosity. Come on over to the comment section to ask questions, share insight, or simply say “hello” in the comments section.

I hope you enjoy reading this blog as much as I enjoy writing it. If you find you enjoy your next cup of coffee a little more next time, I’ll know it was time well spent.
